Union opposition to U.S. Steel sale reflects years of bad relations

I feel like the union’s opposition has weakened over time. It used to sound like they were really against it, but it doesn’t seem like that’s the case anymore. I think that the steelworkers have slowly realized that this deal is actually for their own benefit (more than anyone else’s).
