  1. I’m not opposed to the death penalty in theory. But given how it’s actually implemented, it’s probably something we should just do away with or at least require an insanely high bar to sentence (like you are on video committing the act).

    Not to say this guy is innocent but the real world is not like crime TV where there is flawless execution by the police, labs and prosecutors office. It seems to turn out there are mistakes (big or small) in large fractions of these cases.
