The main message online is that this is to further influence the election. I’m calling BS. I don’t believe that for a second. Even the older people in my life who are republican don’t listen to the radio anymore. And certainly most people have made up their minds..
The first place my mind went was “oh if Wi-Fi and cellular service go down it’s really convenient to spread a narrative by owning radio stations and spreading 1 consistent message across multiple FM/AM channel numbers.”
This paired with the potential Port strike that the current administration won’t intervene in..
Something feels off.
Does it feel to y’all like something bad that affects a lot of us is about to happen?
I’ve had this gut feeling. Maybe it’s just anxiety. It feels different though.

Yep
I have it on good authority that the radio stations won’t be used for left wing propaganda.
Expedited by the FCC and/or FTC probably ignoring some anti trust or monopoly issues.
