    There, I fixed it

  2. How is this even allowed? Feds can do damage before he has any chance to defend himself.

  3. Vessarionovich on

I know I’m going to get attacked/downvoted here, but I’ll take my lumps….

I’m a little uncomfortable with unlimited immunity for Presidents. I can hear the chorus of objections here at r/conservative in the future when a Democrat commits high crimes and misdemeanors in office but is immune from prosecution….and those objections would be justified (but the hypocrisy wouldn’t be).

I don’t think it would be the greatest tragedy if – AFTER BEING ELECTED – Trump is convicted of previous criminal behavior, is compelled to resign, and a young JD Vance takes over as President….ready to take the country into the next 8 years. I’d personally feel more comfortable with Vance at the helm than the mercurial and narcissistic Trump.

We shall see how it all plays out. But right now, we have an election to win.

  4. This coming the day after JD Vance delivered a master class debate performance.

No, that’s not suspicious at all.

  5. Hmmm… The feds say it, but don’t worry, there’s no deep state conspiracy out to slander and undermine and harm Trump and MAGA.

  6. I will literally never understand this line of reasoning. While the Trump campaign was filing challenges we were told (including by the media) that putting up electors for Trump, and submitting their votes was what was required, because if electors voting for Trump didn’t exist, he wouldn’t be able to stay in office even if his challenges were successful. So that’s what he did. Now after the fact submitting electors is somehow “treason”. I literally don’t understand.
