I’m ambiguous about tariffs as an instrument of policy….EXCEPT when it pertains to China, considering our $300+ BILLION annual trade deficit with the Chinese. If our trading partners are going to get rich at our expense, I’d prefer it to be our allies rather than our #1 adversary. In fact, I’d be happy to see US-China trade dwindle to a trickle.
