We have extreme inequality in America, and it’s getting worse

    Yet our GDP and median income is also growing markedly faster than other wealthy nations, which is by far the more relevant metric when it comes to whether an economy is working well or not. Bezos can become a trillionaire for all I care if I get an extra $1000 in the process.

    This obsession with how much billionaires are making make people lose sight of the actual goal which is improving well-being.
