SS: In the 1984 movie Neverending Story, Bastian has to name the Queen. He choose Moon Child. In 1923, Crowley published his novel Moonchild, about a war between black and white mages and a woman being impregnated with an ethereal being called the moonchild.

The Babalon Working was a series of rituals performed in 1946 by Jack Parsons and L. Ron Hubbard that was based on Aleister Crowley’s 1923 novel Moonchild
Do you think Crowley watched the film and got the name from there?
It feels like your stringing random facts together.
First of all, neverending story is a book, at least cite the original thing and not that awful movie. Second, there doesn’t seem to be much connection beyond the name and it’s not exactly a rare name, child of the moon is as basic as a fantasy name gets, it’s not like the names was khakri’it or something unique like that.
