I can hazard a guess. It is unlikely that two people just decided to do this naturally. More likely she is from some group. I don’t know which group, but decrying support for AIPAC has been a common trope of the Sisonites. There are Sisonites active in the DC area, so it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that she was part of some Sisonite group which got her to do this.
