Musk has ownership of several companies that gets a lot of governmental contracts and subsidies, and Trump wants to put him in charge so he gets to decide how much money to give himself. This is beyond a mere conflict of interest, but the merger of government and the private sector.

I was told over and over and over again that the reason trump was “great” was because he couldn’t be bought. But you all see this right? Trump didn’t like EVs or Musk a couple years ago, but now that Elon is donating big, Musk is going to be part of the administration?!
