Harris is slightly favored in the polls and betting odds, and she just won the only scheduled debate.
Maybe I’m being too cautious here, but I think subjecting her to conservative questions (you supported Medicare for all, decriminalizing border crossings, etc) doesn’t seem worth the risk.

She should absolutely do it. The country can see what a rigged debate actually looks like. They’d lob softballs to Trump all night and wouldn’t challenge him on hardly anything while asking her about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
