Vladimir Putin has said that a western move to let Kyiv use longer-range weapons against targets inside Russia would mean Nato would be “at war” with Moscow.
Putin spoke as US and UK top diplomats discussed easing rules on firing western weapons into Russia, which Kyiv has been pressing for, more than two and a half years into Moscow’s offensive.
“It would mean that Nato countries, the US, European countries, are at war with Russia,” he added. “If that’s the case, then taking into account the change of nature of the conflict, we will take the appropriate decisions based on the threats that we will face.” – Source – 𝕏 Source

It amazes me that these ‘*geniuses*’ have so little regard or consideration for human life (read Europeans) that will be put at risk, or lost, as this war escalates.

Russia has been using the “we’re at war with NATO” talking point since very shortly after the start of the war. Things didn’t go well, western support continued: shoulder-mounted munitions, APC, tanks, MLRS. Recently F16s.
All that’s happened is a grinding ground war, and a bit of Russian territory lost. There’s no reason to believe anything Russia threatens, and it doesnt appear they have much ability to follow up a threat at this point. If they did, we wouldn’t be nearing day 1000 of a 3 day operation.
This war could have been over long ago if Ukraine got the support it needed to bring the war to the Russian people. This is every NATO country’s wet dream for the last 60 years
