I was just in Canada over the weekend. Holy Hannah there are a lot of Indians there now. I haven’t seen that many Indians outside of India. Good for them. I’m sure it’s a much better standard of living.

Most of these people are Punjabis and gujaratis who have established community networks. Previously they used to migrate legally before the US government made it impossible for lower skilled indians to enter legally
Also none of these people are poor , they are middle class people stuck in dead end jobs and bad education choices. They usually sell off family assets or take loans to fund US trip , brokers charge them 10 to 25k $ to get them into US

Very sadly an Indian family froze to death trying to cross into Minnesota a few years ago. I would welcome more coming, but please don’t cross in January in Northern Minnesota.
